Brenna Truhe, Campaign Manager
Brenna is a graduate of Emporia State University earning her Master of Library Science in 2018. A native of Salina, Kansas, Brenna earned her Bachelor of Arts in English from Southwestern College in Winfield. Brenna served as the acquisitions librarian at the Kansas Supreme Court Law Library in Topeka. She is currently a librarian at the Wheat Law Library at the University of Kansas School of Law in Lawrence.
Tracy L. Edwards, Treasurer
Tracy is a Certified Financial Planner with over 20 years of experience. Originally from Marysville, Kansas, Tracy has called Emporia home for 30 years. Over those years, Tracy has been active in the community serving on boards and committees including Emporia Friends of the Zoo, Camp Alexander, Hetlinger Foundation, and is a past Chairman of the Emporia Area Chamber of Commerce.
Max McCoy, Communications Advisor
Max is a local author and professor of journalism. He has won awards for his reporting on unsolved murders, serial killers, and hate groups. His most recent book, Elevations: A Personal Exploration of the Arkansas River (University Press of Kansas) was recently named a Kansas Notable Book, among other accolades.
